Keep your gallery on your phone's home screen
Add your gallery to your home screen and it opens like an app, with its own icon.

Open your gallery on your phone.

When the gallery offers it, tap Add to Home Screen.

On iPhone: tap the Share button in Safari's toolbar, then Add to Home Screen.

On Android: open Chrome's ⋮ menu and choose Add to Home screen or Install app.

Your gallery now opens from its own icon. You may need to enter the password again after a while.
